Holbeach ex-Royal Observer Corps bunker was open to the public on Sunday (September 13).

The old nuclear shelter saw service up to the stand down in 1991.

The bunker, now owned by Heritage Lincolnshire, provided guided tours below ground by ex-Leading Observer Charles Parker, from Lincoln, and an above ground display was manned by ex-Chief Observer Frank Sauntson, from Holbeach.

Around 200 people visited during the day including the Pirate Gold team from Radio Lincolnshire as a treasure hunt clue had been hidden within the old post.

Further information and a video tour is available on the Heritage Lincolnshire website.
