Youth hub opening a success

Gosberton Youth Hub has officially opened its doors.

Tom and Ann Mehew of the organising committee cut the ribbon on the rejuvenated project.
Friday nights see the Junior Youth Hub run from 5pm to 6.45pm and sessions for older children from 7pm to 9pm.
There’s a nightly sub of £1.
A spokesman said: “What an amazing launch we had.
“We registered 80 amazing young people over the two sessions.
“It was a fantastic evening and it was great to meet everyone.
“We had table tennis, air hockey, pool, football, basketball, computers, arts and crafts, movies, karaoke.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers for their time.
“We couldn’t have done it without you.”
The rejuvenated hall is being run entirely by volunteers so fundraising will continue to take place.
An Easter raffle which included a prize donated by Grange Farm Butchery raised £130.
Upcoming fundraising events include a Chippy Supper Race Night on Saturday, April 20. To book tickets contact 07747 314390.
There’s also a Summer Party taking place on Sunday July 14.
