You’re not to old to be quizzical

The latest activity for U3A Sutton Bridge participants will get the grey matter going.

The group which puts on a host of sessions for people to enjoy have set up a quiz interest group.

It adds to the sessions held for the over 55s already available including archery, table tennis, dining group, gardening, chess, bridge and wine appreciation.

The vice chair of U3A Sutton Bridge, Frank Heinrich-Tiller, said: “They may be retired, they may be a bit old but that means they have experience of life and they have absorbed lots of random information!

“This new quiz group will be putting forward teams to all and any quizzes being held in their catchment area and hope to increase awareness of their aims to offer the chance to socialise, be entertained and take part in a range of activities to their members but most of all, they want to win.

“The usual winners of quizzes in the Sutton Bridge, Long Sutton andHolbeach area had better look out as there is a new team of seniors coming for your crown.

“If you are up for the challenge contact U3A Sutton Bridge chairman Colin Robinson 07443 303281 for further
details.”
