Your top images to adorn Tulip Suite walls

Four beautiful images are set to adorn the revamped rooms at a palliative care ward.

The Spalding Hospice Foundation appealed through The Spalding Voice for readers to submit their photos that could adorn the walls of the four rooms at The Tulip Suite where patients receive end of life care.
It’s part of a plan to refurbish each room at a cost of £10,000 each.
After receiving so many entries, 16 were chosen to go to a public vote.
A total of 316 votes were cast by Voice readers, and these four images were your favourites.
Joanne Sands’ image came out on top with 50 votes, Rachel Astley’s double rainbow work earned 36 votes, Gav Carter’s picture of geese flying received 30 votes and Dave Coat’s image from Bourne Woods 22 votes.
One picture wasn’t part of the public vote.
After an initial conversation with hospital staff and patients, Paula Van Dyke’s image of a tulip field in South Holland was decided to be included as a new image specifically for the Tulip Suite’s waiting room.
A spokesman for the Spalding Hospice Foundation said: “We would like to thank all who donated pictures for us to use within the Tulip Suite, the quiet Room and the Family Room.
“Some will be used as Pictures, and others as large vinyl murals on the walls.
“Our congratulations to those photographers, with the most popular pictures.
“We will be in contact with all who submitted pictures.
We will be taking before and after pictures as the refurbishment progresses.
“Our thanks to all those who have donated or sponsored items as the refurbishment continues to progress forward.”

Paula van Dyke’s image was thought to be so impressive organiser have decided to have it on the wall of the entrance hall.
Joanne Sands’ image got most of your votes.
