Young gun Waterfall impresses at latest Adrian Flux Arena meeting

South Holland racers were amongst the action as three classes of Bangers took centre stage at the Adrian Flux Arena last Saturday.

It was a superb night where the mid-weight 1500cc Bangers, who were racing in a teams competition, saw the more brutal of the action at the King’s Lynn venue.

Sonny Parson (23) and Lewis Ivatt (717) took their place on the grid, with Parson part of the Blue and Black team that won the Entertainers League on the night.

However, Parson didn’t have his best night and didn’t manage to get in amongst the action.

Similarly, Ivatt had a below par night for his standards, as he got caught up amongst the hard hitting action.

The Junior Bangers were also on track – and they continue to have a great season with big grids of cars and highly competitive action.

Liam Waterfall (291), one of the category’s top drivers, managed to pick his way through to two sixth place finishes, but failed to record a result in the feature race of the day.

Coming up next is an evening of Non Stop Stock Car action this Saturday at 5pm, which includes the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, 2L Saloons and 1300 Stock Cars.

A host of South Holland talent will be venturing across to the King’s Lynn shale including Charley Tomlin (129), who is one of the F2 Stock Cars top drivers.

He will be hoping to come away with the silverware in what is a big money meeting for the class.

Brothers Jack and Pat Issit will be hoping to be well amongst the action too and come away with some good results.

Barry Clow (597) has been having a good run of form, picking up a race win at his last few meetings.

Similarly in the 2L Saloon Stock Cars, Wes Starmer (525) has been having a good year so far and will be looking to keep that going this Saturday.

Not to be left out, Caine Parnell (229) has had a win or two recently too and will be hoping to push for more this weekend.
