Yogathon fundraiser for SPOTS and Agapecare Foodbank

A three-hour yogathon is being held as a fundraiser this month.

SPOTS (Supportive Parents Of Tomorrow’s Stars) – a charity promoting the benefit of recreation facilities for children and families – and Agapecare Foodbank will be the beneficiaries of the event at The Umbrella in Westlode Street, Spalding, on Saturday, January 24.

There will be three hours of yoga with three different teachers – Carole Tovell (teaches a Hatha style), Nikki Balding (Dynamic Vinyasa style) and Sarah Tight (Hatha).
A spokesman for the event said: “We will all teach one hour of our own style.
“Carole will warm us up, Nikki will build up the heat and Sarah will be doing some deep poses and meditation.”

There will be 40 students all paying £10 and raising sponsorship money.
The yogathon is from 9.30am-12.30pm.
