Working weekend offers a taste of the past

Fleet took a step back in time when tractor drivers descended for the annual Fenland Working Weekend.

A field in Branches Lane was filled with tractor drivers from far and wide demonstrating how traditional machinery was used in the past.

This popular event attracted many tractor drivers with farming machinery, along with farming enthusiasts who took their tractors and machines along to plough and cultivate the fields in the traditional way.

The event was open to both static exhibitors and those with working displays.

People paid a minimum donation of £5 to take part and the money raised will be donated to charity.

Spectators could go along for free and enjoy watching and learning about the way things used to be done.
