Woman’s bag stolen outside wine bar

A woman had her handbag stolen after being knocked to the ground in Long Sutton.

Police are appealing for witnesses to an altercation outside Turpins Wine Bar in the Market Place on Friday, June 6 at around 12.45am.

The 24-year-old Holbeach woman’s bag contained an iPhone, passport and driving licence.

PC Laura Green, of Spalding Police, would like to hear from anyone who was in Long Sutton market place in the early hours of  June 6 and who either witnessed the incident or who assisted the victim.

Anyone with information should contact PC Green by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 370 of June 8. Report crimes anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
