A woman had to be cut from under a bus after an incident in Spalding last night.
Spalding Fire Crew were called to the incident on Winfrey Avenue shortly after 6pm pm on Thursday (December 22).
A fire spokesman said that a woman had been cut out and given casualty care.
Police say the woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: ”We attended a collision in Winfrey Avenue, Spalding at 6.09pm on 22 December.
“The collision involved a bus and woman. The woman, in her 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The road was closed until around 2am.
“Investigations are ongoing and witnesses can call 101, quoting incident 332 of 22 December.”
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “Spalding Fire Crew attended an RTCon Winfrey Avenue, Spalding. Crew used Holmatro spreaders to and chocks to release one female from underneath bus and gave casualty care.”
