Woman guilty of putting nails and screws in road

A woman from Sutton Bridge has been fined for putting nails and screws in the road.

Victoria Smith, of St Matthews Drive, admitted the charge relating to an incident on June 21, 2024 on Hagbeach Gate and Eastgate in Whaplode.

She had pleaded not guilty to the charge, but Boston Magistrates’ Court found her guilty.

Smith was fined £300 and ordered to pay £300 costs and a £120 victim surcharge.
