Woman airlifted to hospital after house fire

A woman in her 50s had to be air lifted to hospital after a fire at her Spalding home.

The woman suffered what police said was serious injuries in the blaze first reported around midday yesterday (Sunday, January 29).

Police have today (Monday) said the cause of the fire is not suspicious.

Crews from Spalding, Holbeach and Market Deeping attended the blaze which severely damaged the lounge of the house and caused smoke damage to the rest of the property.
