Woman (56) remanded in custody on attempted murder charge

A 56-year-old woman from Long Sutton accused of attempted murder at a farm has been remanded in custody.

Mary Jane Taylor, of Little London, appeared before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on New Year’s Eve. She is accused of attempting to murder Alan Taylor at Whaplode on December 8.

Her case was sent for trial at Lincoln Crown Court. She is next due to appear there on Monday, January 30.
