Woman (41) arrested over racist verbal abuse on service bus

Police investigating a racially aggravated public order offence on a service bus have arrested a 41-year-old woman.

The Voice understands the incident to have happened on a 505 Spalding-King’s Lynn service.

Police said: “We received a report at 5.30pm on Tuesday 20th September that a youth had been verbally abused by a female on board the bus.

“A 41-year-old local woman was subsequently arrested and remains in custody being interviewed.”

Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 349 of September 20.
