Rehearsals are almost complete for Polka Dot Academy’s younger students, as they prepare their next wonderful show – Alice In Wonderland.

Alice In Wonderland is a magical story about a young girl called Alice who is bored of listening to her sister and longs for adventure.

One day she follows a white rabbit down the rabbit hole and discovers Wonderland – and she certainly gets the adventure she has been looking for!

With modern hits such as It’s My Party by Jessie J, Wonder by Emeli Sande and Rather Be by Clean Bandit, this show is a funky version of the classic.

Director Phil Norton is excited about staging this new adaptation.

He said: “Most people already know the story of Alice, so we have taken this well loved tale and jazzed it up.

“This term, the cast have learned some new skills such as puppetry and gymnastic ribbon twirling which we use to great effect in the show.”

And with a cast of around 50 youngsters Phil is very impressed with how hard they have worked.

He added: “I am really pleased with them all, especially as the age range is three to 13 years!”

Join Alice, The Mad Hatter, The Queen of Hearts, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and a whole host of other hilarious characters in this family friendly musical adventure.

Tickets are expected to sell quickly for the three performances so book now by calling the box office on 01775 764777.
