Wild Boys made Holbeach Music and Beer Festival ‘unforgettable’

The Holbeach Music and Beer Festival provided organiser Sean Taylor a moment he’ll never forget.

Fireworks flew while 80s-style band Wild Boys topped off a triumphant Saturday night after an afternoon shower threatened to dampen spirits.

“At 2pm, there was a sharp shower,” said Sean.

“From three onwards, the sun came out. When Soft Tone Needles played with the sun setting it was just perfect.

“Then Wild Boys absolutely smashed it. They put on a performance that hadn’t been seen in Holbeach ever. That was the moment I’ll never forget.”

More than 3,000 weekend writstbands were sold for the three-day event.

The family-friendly festival held at Community Sports Academy also featured a funfair and food alongside the music and 60 real ales.

After a week setting up and a week clearing up, Sean says he’s achieved his goals. “It’s affordable, high quality and a family safe environment so I’ve hit my targets,” he added.

Sean says amid the week-long packing away, planning for 2018’s event has begun.
