Whitewash for Bourne by leaders

It was a top versus bottom clash in the Spalding and District Billiards League as Gosberton B took on Bourne Pyramid A.
And in an unsurprising result, leaders Gosberton came out on top, winning 7-0.
Marcus Pell (O40), Des Forbes (R50) and Shane White (O50) emerged victors, seeing off John Clapton (R100), John Twell (R70) and Reegan Cooke Holmes (R70).
Breaks of 37, 25, 24 and 20 for White and a 21 for Pell, helped Gosberton to the win.
Twell found a little consolation in a 33 break during his loss.
Holbeach B held on to second win thanks to a 5-2 win over Donington.
Frame wins from Denis Hix (R70) and Neil Harvey (R50) saw Holbeach to victory, while Tony Scully (R40) got the points for Donington, while racking up breaks of 32, 22, 22 and 21.
Chris Chamberlain (R50) hit back with a 23 break but it wasn’t enough to take the win.
Consti A got the better of clubmates Consti B 4-3.
John Bellerby (R80) and Alan Hansard (R80) were the winners for the A team, while Keiran Witham-Richards (R50) got the points for the losers.
Breaks of 59, 32 and 21 couldn’t help Mick Johnson (O150) to the win over Bellerby.
Holbeach A and Pyramid B both had free weeks
Results: Consti B 3 Consti A 4; Holbeach B 5 Donington 2; Gosberton B 7 Pyramid A 0.
