Wheely helpful club boost

A Spalding charity has received £2,850 from a car club which has chosen to support it for the year.

Spalding Classic Car Club members decided to support the town’s PHAB, as the club’s chosen charity for 2024.
PHAB, which works to encourage shared experiences on a equal basis, had its club chairman Joy Mann hand a cheque to Andrew Inkley, PHAB’s chairman, along with Spalding and East Elloe Classic Car Club members at a PHAB evening at Weston Hills Village Hall.
Most of the proceeds were raised at the club’s annual classic car run which attracted almost 70 cars, this year finishing at Grimsthorpe Castle.
The Spalding Classic Car Club is for people who own or are interested in classic cars of any make or type, and members enjoy a varied calendar of events including visits, shows and talks, plus trips away, weekend or evening drives and socials.
