Wet weather frustrates Tulips

It was a wet weekend for Spalding United as their scheduled Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division match with Lye Town was postponed.

Spalding visit 13th place Bedworth United on Saturday.
Despite them not playing a former Tulip helped aid his old side’s title charge.
Dylan Edge was on target for Cambridge City in a 2-1 win over third placed Anstey Nomads.
That leaves Nomads two points behind Spalding with both sides now having played 26 games.
Harborough remain top a point ahead of the Tulips with a game in hand after their match at Walsall Wood was another to fall foul of the weather.
The Tulips have also announced that U16s will be allowed in free for their home match with Loughborough Dynamo on Saturday, February 24.
