A South Holland school which is welcoming and nurturing has been praised by Ofsted.
“Staff share a belief that pupils can achieve excellent outcomes, whatever their starting point,” said the recently published report for Weston St Mary Church of England Primary School.
“The school carefully considers the needs of the pupils and the community from which they come. The school’s ambition is that each pupil receives a high-quality education. It has ensured that the curriculum is broad, aspirational and ambitious,” the inspection found.
The school has retained its previous inspection grading, which included an award of good across the board.
“The school is tenacious in its approach to attendance. It checks pupils’ attendance closely,” said the report which came after a visit by inspectors in May.
