Water company hope to open road closed by burst water main ‘by end of the week’

Anglian Water says it hopes to have High Street in Spalding open ‘by the end of the week’ after closing it due to a burst water main.

The road has been closed this week after the incident leading to traffic issues in that area of the town.

An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for any traffic disruption on the High Street in Spalding this week.

“We needed to close the road in order for our teams to fix a burst main, which has now been repaired.

“Our teams are due to reinstate the site and all going well, the road will be reopened by the end of the week.”
