Warning after Spalding burglaries

Spalding police are investigating a spate of burglaries in Double Street. 

In all cases, the properties back on to the river-bank path.

Between 11pm and midnight on Thursday (July 10), a property was entered and two mobile telephones and an electronic notebook were stolen.

On the same evening another house was also entered, but nothing was stolen.

At around midnight on Saturday (July 12) burglars entered a house in Double Street and stole a mobile telephone and television.

Community Policing Inspector Jim Tyner said: “Two of these properties were entered through insecure doors or windows and, even in warm weather, residents should keep windows secure.”
