More than £7m is heading to South Holland, Boston and East Lindsey to help residents with energy efficiency in their homes
The money will be used to deliver the next phase of Green Homes Grants to private homeowners and landlords.
South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership is taking part in the Sustainable Warmth Programme to help low-income households.
The Home Upgrade Grant will help off-gas homes upgrade and a separate grant, known as LAD3 is for properties on gas. It is capped at £10,000 or £5,000 for landlords.
Funds between £5,000 and £25,000 will be awarded to homes undertaking improvements including loft, cavity, underfloor and wall insulation. Low-energy lighting upgrades, solar panels, draught-proofing and low-carbon hearing measures such as air or ground source heat pumps are also included.
Eligible properties need an Energy Performance Rating of E, F or G and a household income of less than £30,000.
An independent assessor will survey each property and make recommendations.
The funding has been divided across the three councils with South Holland receiving the lowest amount of £1,775,000. East Lindsey is set to receive £3,629,966 and Boston £1,850,000.
