Ward chosen to get money

A department at Pilgrim Hospital has been given a donation by a Holbeach charity.

Chosen Charity, which runs two shops in Holbeach, donated the money to the Pilgrim Hospital endoscopy unit, which is run by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust.

Mary Cooper, the founder of Chosen Charity, said: “On January 19 we presented a cheque for £1,000 to the Endoscopy unit at Pilgrim Hospital.

“The staff on that ward are amazing and we are grateful on a personal level but we know lots of you have needed their services.”

Last week, Chosen donated £1,000 to Jerry Green Dog Rescue.
