Wallis back on top

Frazer Wallis was the winner of the final Spalding Cycling Club’s ten-mile TT on the Barrier Bank course.

There were unusually low numbers with only eight riders available in the height of the holiday season.
Wallis, back after missing a week, took the victory with a rapid 21mins 26secs, chased home by Matt Chappell in second with another very quick time of 21:55.
In doing so he over hauled Chris Ward who came home third with a 22:24.
Jacob Booth had his best result of the season with a solid fourth place, just ahead of the super fast women’s winner Evgeniya Brand (24:47).
Brian Daniels led home returning Simon Wright for sixth and seventh and Samantha Briffett gave a very good account of herself in eighth with a 27:41.
