Walkies! Sponsored dog event in Spalding for RSPCA

Dog walkers are being encouraged to take part in a charity fundraiser next month.

The RSPCA Big Walkies is taking place on Sunday, October 2, and will start from Ayscoughfee Hall Gardens in Spalding.
The event aims to raise funds through sponsorship for the Lincolnshire East Branch of the RSPCA and runs from 10.30am until 3pm.

There are two walks to choose from – 3km or 5km – and there will also be a range of fundraising stalls as well as some of the dogs that are currently in care and awaiting new homes.
Each dog that is registered will receive a welcome pack which includes a bandanna to wear on the day.
Sponsorship money will be used to support the vital animal welfare work that the branch does in this area.

To register for the event – which is being supported by the national RSPCA – visit www.rspca.org.uk/bigwalkies or call 0300 1230123.
