Walk in vaccination appointments on offer

Lincolnshire adults yet to be vaccinated against COVID-19 can visit new walk in appointments.

Those aged 40 or over who have yet to be vaccinated against COVID 19 can make use of a walk-in system for Astra Zeneca.

The county’s two mass vaccination centres, at Lincolnshire Showground and the Princess Royal Sports Arena (PRSA), Boston, are both accepting people over the age of 40 for first or second dose, if there’s been a minimum of six weeks between injections.

Both venues will be open from 8am to 7pm to Thursday, June 24.

The Pfizer vaccine, for anyone aged 39 or under, will also be available for first or second dose with a minimum eight week gap and will be offered until Friday at 7pm

“The walk-ins are a fantastic opportunity for anyone who might have not taken up the offer to get vaccinated.

The NHS expects all the walk-in clinics to be busy.
