Volunteers support Big Spring Clean

There was a Big Spring Clean-Up in South Holland when an army of volunteers got to work.

Parish councillors led the event which saw bin bags at the ready in Moulton, Moulton Seas End and Moulton Chapel at the weekend.

The clean-up has been held for six years and is always well-supported by residents.

“I was really pleased with the number of people who gave up their own free time to come and support the event.

“All three villages suffer the same problem, as does the wider area, with litter being thrown into open space rather than in one of the several roadside bins,” said Coun Andrew Woolf, chairman of Moulton Parish Council.

“We collected more than 20 bags and I would like to thanks everyone that helped,” he added.
