Volunteers help keep town tidy

Volunteers joined councillors as Keep Britain Tidy events rounded off in Spalding.

As previously reported, independent councillors have taken on the Great British Spring Clean events that were due to take place earlier in the year.

After several clean ups they concluded at the weekend with sessions around the skate park in Low Fulney and around St Paul’s School.

Coun Rob Gibson, said: “Spalding Independent councillors would like to thank all those that joined us to assist with the clean up.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those good Samaritans who tidy their own patches all year round, they are the real super stars.”
