A group of 15 young people, volunteers and friends set off for a three mile run around town to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The Vista Crew, which is a group for teenagers that meets every other Saturday morning at the St Nicolas Church Hall, organised the charity run on Sunday.
The event raised around £550.
The total included half the proceeds of the group’s VistaFest4 event on Friday, which included live music from bands including The Moving, Disabled Angel Two Point Zero and Death Valley Piledriver.
The other half of the proceeds – around £130 – will go towards Vista Crew funds.
Vice chairman and event organiser, Cath Gibson said: “The run went really well and we were really pleased with the amount we raised for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
“VistaFest was not that well attended but it still raised £130 for the Vista Crew, so that is not to be sniffed at.”
