Views sought on new Lincolnshire waste strategy

A consultation into how waste is disposed of in Lincolnshire has been launched.

The Lincolnshire Waste Partnership, made up of the local councils in the area has unveiled its Joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy document.

If passed it will replace the strategy brought into force in 2018.

Coun Eddy Poll, chairman of Lincolnshire Waste Partnership, said: “It is very important that people take this opportunity to tell us what they think.”

Residents can give their views through the release of the consultation document which is available online from April 4 until July 2 at www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/recycle-for-lincolnshire/
