Father and son duo Simon and Rowan Venni enjoyed some success at the stock car season opener at King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena on Saturday.
In the 2Litre saloon stock cars, veteran campaigner Simon took a couple of top ten finishes away with him, with a fourth place in a preliminary heat race his best result.
Rowan, finished his first ever senior class race with a strong fourth place finish in the opening race.
In the 1300 stock cars, Spalding’s Ricky Ivatt finished a credible eighth place from around 30 starters in the main feature race for the class.
Multi-champion racer Dan Booth was tenth in his first race before being forced to retire.
The next banger and stock car action is scheduled March 14 and is fully booked for competitors with over 170 cars taking part.
In action will be 2litre bangers, 1500 bangers, junior bangers and 1300 stock cars, making for a night of non-stop action and entertainment at the King’s Lynn venue.
