An independent business owner has slammed the “mindless and pathetic vandals” who vandalised her Holbeach showroom.
Lesley Barnard of Gallery Tiles and Bathrooms on Welbourne Lane East has had to pick up the tab after someone smashed glass windows overnight on Friday, January 12.
Lesley came to work the following morning facing a massive clean up job.
“It’s mindless and pathetic,” she said.
“They used one of those old beer glasses to smash one window.
“They also threw a rock which went through the front window and smashed an internal door as well so they must have thrown it with some force.
“The cleaning up took ages as the glass spread everywhere.”
Anyone with any information relating to the events between 5pm on January 12 and 9am on January 13 is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting ref 93 of 12/2.
