Tydd St Mary Football Club are growing – and need your help

Ever-expanding Tydd St Mary FC are looking for willing volunteers to coach, manage and nurture their new youth football teams.

The Saints already have players ready to go for the following age groups: Under-6s (school year 1, aged 5-6 years), under-7s (year 2, aged 6-7 years), under-8s (year 3, aged 7-8 years) and a girls team (mixed ages from 8-12 years).

Each successful volunteer coach will be checked for DBS/CRB and will then be put on the next FA Level One coaching course available, at no cost to them. This is supplied by the club FOC as part of the Tydd’s development programme.

This is a chance for any aspiring coaches or managers to get involved with a club that is growing rapidly.

Indeed, The Saints have gone from having just the one adult team four years ago to having 12 active teams – four adult sides and eight junior teams – under their banner.

Meanwhile, players are also required for Tydd’s under-13 team (year 8, aged 12-13 years) and their adult female teams (players aged 16 and over).
