Tydd St Giles trio Jackie, Chris and Maie seal impressive victory at AM/AM event

Jackie Maton, Chris Doy and Maie Osborn were the winners of Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s Ladies’ Captain’s AM/AM competition.

A score of 96 points was enough for them to conquer all at an event that, as revealed by lady captain Julie Perry on the day, raised £150 for their chosen charity Leukaemia UK.

Men’s section: July Medal competition: Division One – 1st Wayne Alder 79-11=68 (ocb); 2nd Ashley Ziebart 81-13=68; 3rd Michael McCreery 81-12=69.

Division Two – 1st Darrell Pacey 83-17=66; 2nd Brian Newby 86-18=68 (ocb); 3rd Phil Tilney 84-16=68 (ocb).

Division Three – 1st Richard Howlett 87-22=65 (ocb); 2nd Paul Milward 86-21=65, 3rd Malcolm Pack 88-21=67.

Seniors’ section: Individual Stableford: Division One – 1st Mick Vassall 42pts; 2nd Tom Ainsley 41pts; 3rd Noel Bratt 37pts.

Division Two – 1st Phil Wilkinson 40pts (ocb); 2nd Paul Jackson 40pts (ocb); 3rd Dave Punshon 40pts.
