A record turnout of 190 men and women players contested Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s Captain’s Day charity event on Saturday.
Organised by skipper Ian Cooper, the event was back on the calendar after skipping a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The overall winner on the day was David Barnes with a score of 39 points, while Lynn Exley (41 points) bossed the ladies’ section.
More than £4,000 was raised for Cooper’s captains charity, although he has not yet decided which organisations will be supported.
