Two weeks to go and it’s still all to play for in all divisions

It’s all to play for at the top of Division One in the Spalding and District Snooker League with just two weeks left until the end of the season.

The battle between leaders Donington C and second-placed Services A is hotting up, with both teams chalking up 6-0 wins on Thursday night.
Donington C remain five points clear after their victory over Boundary A, thanks to wins from Lee Hempsall (O14), Matt Turner (O14), Shaun Pickering (R21), Mick Pearl (O21) and Neil Favell (O7).
While Services A whitewashed Bourne SC A to keep the pressure on at the top.
Their winners were Vince Fitter (O35), Martin Spencer (O28), Chris Dunmore (O35), Phil Spencer (O7) and Kev Emerson (R7).
The loss causes Bourne to drop to sixth place.
A 5-1 win for Consti G has pushed them up the table from six into third.
They beat Holbeach C, thanks to wins from Ady Sibley (O35), Martin Deacon (O14), Darren Woodberry (O42) and Mark Woodberry (O56).
Mark Gregory (O35) was Holbeach’s only winner.
Consti E have dropped to fourth, after losing 4-2 away to Sutton Bridge.
Paul Gurney (O7), Shane Balding (O49) and Wayne Howard (O14) got the frames for Bridge, while George Neary-Phillips (O21) won twice for Consti.
A mid-table clash between Pyramid C and Holbeach D saw Pyramid come out on top.
They won 4-2 thanks to Richard Skellett (O14) who won twice and Spencer Dawkins (O56).
Holbeach E’s battle to remain in Division One took a hit when they lost 5-1 to Consti H.
Pete Ransome won the first frame for Holbeach, but unfortunately his team mates couldn’t keep up the form.
Doug Garfoot (O28), Olly Turner (O14), Jon Holdershaw (R14) and Adam Mayman (O21) were Consti’s winners.
There were breaks of 30 from Mayman and Holbeach’s Stuart Sullivan (O35).
It’s tight at the top of Division Two too, with clubmates Pyramid D and A fighting it out.
The D team remain at the top but are just two points clear after a 4-2 win away at Services D.
Paul Spicer (O14) got Services off to a good start, pipping Josh Agger (O14) to the first frame on the black, before Reegan Cooke-Holmes (O21) took the second frame to level the score.
Alan Day (R7) hit back for Services, before James Sharpe (O49) made it all square again.
It was down to final frame which saw Pete Jackson (R14) get the better on Russ Morse (O7) to take the win.
Pyramid A closed the gap by a point thanks to a 5-1 win over Holbeach A.
Consti B and Holbeach A remain in third and fourth place respectively.
Consti beat Donington A 4-2 with wins coming from John Christian (R7), Mick Johnson (O28) and Steve Spencer (R14).
John George (O7) and Kevin Hawes (O7) scored for Donington.
Holbeach B hold on to fifth place with a 4-2 win over Consti F.
Neil Harvey (O14), Pete Mullane (O28) and Adi Liquorish (R14) were Holbeach’s winners.
Down at the bottom of the table, Gosberton D, who are hoping to avoid relegation, did themselves a favour, beating Whittlesey C 5-1.
Keith Lungley (O14), Paolo Gensiorskyj (O7), Lynn Simmons (R21) and Dan Hanger (R7) were the winners.
Neil Burton (O14) got the single point for Whittlesey.
Gosberton are now third-from-bottom.
Pyramid D have dropped into the danger zone, after losing 5-1 to Services B.
Jason Rose (O28), Andy Neal (R7), Fred Cummins (R7) and Alan Hansard (scr) got the frames for Services, while Dennis Pearson (scr) was Pyramid’s only winner.
Gosberton A beat Donington B 4-2, thanks to wins from Adam Twigg (O14), Jamie Mumby (O14) and Alan Jackson (scr).
In Division Three, a top-of-the-table clash saw Holbeach F come out 4-2 winners over Consti I.
The win means Holbeach are four points clear of second-placed Consti.
Holbeach’s winners were David Lefley (R21), Dan Mayfield (O28) and Alex Bourne (O28).
Consti J sit in third but closed the gap to just a point thanks to their 5-1 win over Consti D.
Les Andrews (scr), Jack Howard (scr), Nev Vickers (R7) and Trev Braybrook (R14) were the victors.
Gosberton B pushed themselves up the table with a 6-0 whitewash of Donington D, who are now second-from-bottom.
Consti C walked away with a good 5-1 win at home to Whittlesey A.
Wins from John Walker (R28), Steve Crane (R7), Kevin Sweeney (R7) and Dave Banister (scr) sealed the deal.
Pyramid E got the better of Whittlesey B, beating them 4-2.
