Two teams are crowned but all to play for in Division Two

Divisions One and Three in the Spalding and District Snooker League are all wrapped up with a week to go, but it’s still all to play for in Division Two.

Donington C are Division One champions, tying up their campaign on Thursday night with a 6-0 win over Services C.
Wins came from Lee Hempsall (O14), Shaun Pickering (R21), Mat Turner (O14), Mick Pearl (O21) and Neil Favell (O7).
Holbeach F have taken the crown in Division Three, as despite suffering a 4-2 loss to Whittlesey A, they now can’t be caught.
David Lefley (R21), who has the overall most wins in the league jointly with Jack Chilvers with 18, got Holbeach off to a good start, beating Andy Gebbie (R21) 87-40.
Susan Lefley (R28), who has got the most wins for a lady player this season, also won, but it wasn’t enough, as Jason Clarke (O7), Malc Bruce (scr) and Steve Jennings (O28) took three frames – and the match – for Whittlesey.
But in Division Two, there are only two points separating Pyramid D and Pyramid A with it coming down to the final match of the season tonight (Thursday).
In the first division, Services A are runners-up. Their match against Sutton Bridge was cancelled on Thursday and they lost a rearranged game against Pyramid C 4-2 earlier in the week, but they’ve already done enough to take the second-place spot.
It’s a fight between Consti E and Consti G for third place.
The E team leapfrogged Consti G into third place thanks to a 6-0 win over Pyramid C.
Wins came from James Kingston (O21), Simon Law (O7), Jack Chilvers (O14), George Neary-Phillips (O21) and Martin Ulyatt (O14).
Consti G beat Holbeach E 4-2. Their winners were Martin Deacon (O14), Joe Garland (scr) and Mark Woodberry (O56).
Aaron Coe (O7) and Philip Coaten (O14) got the points for Holbeach.
Consti H beat Holbeach D 4-2.
Bourne SC B took on clubmates Bourne SC A, with the A team coming out on top and Mark Gray (O98) knocking in a fantastic 92 clearance.
Oliver Player (O35), and Ian Clare (scr) were the A team’s other winners.
The loss leaves Bourne SC B firmly in the relegation zone, along with Holbeach E and Sutton Bridge.
Holbeach C look like they might have escaped the drop zone, thanks to a 4-2 win over Boundary A.
Winners on the night were Dan Ashton (O7), Terry West (R7) and Mark Gregory (O35), who got a 36 break on his way to victory over Andy Mowforth (O7).
In Division Two, Pyramid D are holding on to first place, thanks to a 4-2 win over Whittlesey C.
Neil Burton (O14) took the first frame for Whittlesey, before James Sharpe (O49), Reegan Cooke-Holmes (O21) and Marcus Hamilton (O28) hit back for Bourne securing the match.
Jason Bloomfield (O21) took the final frame for Whittlesey.
Pyramid A also won 4-2 against Services B, keeping the gap between the two the same.
Michael Twell (R7), John Twell (O7) and Dean Cole (O14) were the winners for Pyramid.
Third place is also up for grabs with just two points separating the next three teams.
Consti B are sitting in third, but a 5-1 loss to Holbeach A, has allowed them and Holbeach B to make up some ground.
Holbeach A, who are fifth but just two points behind Consti, got the win thanks to Sean Swinburn (O56), Steve Dent (scr) twice and Stuart Atkin (O42).
Holbeach B are fourth, after they whitewashed Services D 6-0.
Charlie Mullane (R21), Barry Haynes (O7), Adi Liquorish (R14), Pete Mullane (O28) and Neil Harvey (O14) got the wins.
Down at the bottom of the table, Donington B are in the danger zone and a 4-2 loss to their A team didn’t help.
Pyramid B are also looking like they might go down, they lost 4-2 to fifth-placed Consti F.
A clash between Gosberton D and Gosberton A saw the D team walk away 5-1 winners and a place higher in the table.
This leaves Gosberton A in the drop zone.
In Division Three, Consti I and Consti J are battling it out for second place.
They both currently sit on 73 points, so the runners-up title could go either way.
Consti I were without a game on Thursday, and Consti J missed a chance to put themselves ahead, losing 5-1 to Pyramid E, who also can’t be ruled out for a second-place finish.
Steve Thompson (R14), Neil McLean (R7), Adrian Sharpe (O28) and Jeremy Radford (R7) were the winners for Pyramid, while Nev Vickers (R7) got the solitary point for Consti.
Gosberton B took on friendly foe Gosberton C and walked away 6-0 winners.
Richard Crampton (R28), Merv Patterson (R21), Nigel Goodwin (R21), Warren Driver (R14) and Simon Slinger (R7) were the winners.
A bottom-of-the-table clash saw Consti D beat Donington D 4-2, while Consti A got the better of Whittlesey B, winning 4-2.
Their wins were courtesy of Martyn Johnson (R14), Bill Prosser (O14) and Nigel Steadman (R7).
