Two in hospital after being injured by dog

Two people remain in hospital after being injured by a dog.

Lincolnshire Police were called to a property in Low Road, Spalding, just after 1.15pm yesterday (Sunday, February 11).

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “Officers attended and found two people with serious injuries who were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where they remain.

“Due to the level of injury, the dog was seized and is being housed in kennels while further enquiries are made.

“The dog was contained at the address, it is known to the people who were attacked, and at no point was a risk to the wider public.”

Police have not said what breed of dog was involved, but it’s not believed to have been one that is currently banned.
