UPDATE: Fatal Spalding house fire ‘not suspicious’

TUESDAY AM: A fire at a Spalding house which killed three people is not being treated as suspicious.

Police have said a joint investigation with Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue is still ongoing.

They have confirmed that the three victims were all men, but a formal identification has not yet been made.

MONDAY AM:Police have confirmed that a third body has been found at the scene of the fire in Tower Lane, Spalding.

It has not been safe for investigators to enter the building and the cause of the fire is still not known. A joint fire service and police investigation continues.

Police are in the process of identifying the three victims and tracing next of kin

SUNDAY AM: Two people have died in a house fire in Spalding overnight.

The blaze was discovered at a house in Tower Lane, off Cowbit Road, just after 12am today (Sunday).

The cause of the fire is not yet known and police have not yet released any more details of the two people who have died.

A joint fire service and police investigation is underway.

Anyone with any information they believe may assist the enquiry is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 3 of May 1.
