Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash which claimed the life of a South Holland motorcyclist.
A crash on the A52 at Haceby on Bank Holiday Monday saw the man die and his passenger hospitalised in a serious condition.
Neither have been named by police, but are from South Holland.
Officers want to hear from anyone who was on the road at around 5.50pm and may have seen a light-coloured Nissan Micra in the area. The car was not involved in the collision, but the occupants may be witnesses to the collision.
A black Ford Galaxy collided with a white Suzuki on Main Road.
The driver of the car has been arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of a collision.
Information can be given to Lincolnshire police on 101 quoting incident 406 of August 28.
As previously reported, the driver of a black Range Rover was killed when his vehicle hit a telegraph pole in Eye earlier this week.
Christopher Bond (34), of Barnes Road, Donington, died at the scene on Friday afternoon. His front seat passenger, a nine-year-old boy, was injured in the collision and taken to Peterborough City Hospital for treatment.
He was released the following day.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cambridgeshire police on 101.
Across the county there have been 30 deaths on the road so far this year – of which a third were motorcyclists.
John Siddle, of Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, said while the figure has reduced by ten over the same period in the previous year, it was still more than he might have hoped.
