Two bodies discovered in area in separate incidents

Police are investigating the discovery of two bodies in South Holland over the last few days.

Officers confirmed that a man found in Spalding’s Broad Street at 6.30am on December 20 died.

“The death is being treated as unexplained. Whilst it may be a medical episode, we are working to establish if there are any possible suspicious circumstances,” said a statement.

A body was also discovered on the foreshore at Dawsmere on December 31.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and they were working to identify the body which is believed to have been in the water for some time.
