Two arrested after attempted kidnap in Spalding

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted kidnap near the Springfields roundabout in Spalding.

It was reported that on November 11th at around 9.55am a car pulled up near the roundabout and the female passenger jumped out and attempted to pull a woman, who was walking along the road, into the vehicle. 

Two people, a man (37) and a woman (34) have been arrested in connection with this and released on bail. 

A police spokesman said: “We are treating this as an attempted kidnap.”

“We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this, or any motorists who were travelling in this area who may have dash cam footage to contact us in one of the following ways:
