Twins inspired by Colonel Tom Moore raise £1,000 for NHS

Nine-year-old twins from Weston Hills have raised nearly £1,000 by taking on 25 kilometres worth of challenges.

Harry and Bertie Badcock wanted to take on a challenge after being inspired by Colonel Tom Moore who has raised more than £30m for the NHS.

So on Tuesday they did five kilometres each on the treadmill, on the exercise bike, dribbling a football around the garden, three legged march on the drive followed by a clap and a walk around as part of their daily exercise. In total it took the pair six and a half hours as the training they’ve been doing watching Joe Wicks paid off.

Mum Rachel Black said: “Thank you so much for the sponsorship, the sharing, the cheering, the kind words and the snacks.

“The boys are absolutely made up with the support they’ve received.”
