Tulips team up with Friends

Spalding United is helping a charity that provides for the area’s hospital net more cash during this season.

The club has announced its chosen charity will be the Friends of Johnson Hospital.
Volunteers were invited to the club’s community coffee morning last week.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have chosen by Spalding as their official charity to support.
“The Tulips share a similar philosophy with the Friends in that we are all volunteers, working for the common good of our local community.
“Their monthly coffee mornings are a wonderful initiative, inviting anyone to come along and enjoy a friendly atmosphere with delicious refreshments — especially the cakes! It’s a fantastic opportunity for people to connect and engage.
“The Friends are looking forward to working closely with the club to promote both Spalding United and our charity, raising awareness of the important work we do to support the hospital.
“Together, we believe we can achieve great things for the people of Spalding, the hardworking nurses and auxiliary staff at Johnson Community Hospital, and of course, the patients who rely on the hospital’s services.
“We cannot thank Spalding United enough.
