Tulips held to another away draw as Tigers are tonked at Boston

Josh Moreman scored twice as Spalding United were held to a 2-2 draw at Basford United on Tuesday night, while Holbeach United’s 11-game unbeaten run ended with a 5-0 Lincs FA Senior Trophy thrashing at Boston Town.

Starting with the Tulips, Moreman (25 & 44) saw his double cancelled out by a Ross Watson OG (29) and Rhys Myers (80).

That’s now four draws from as many Evo-Stik League First Division South games for Spalding this season.

Holbeach, meanwhile, were thumped at Boston thanks to goals from Richard Ford (2), Jack Wightwick (2) and Matt Kennedy.
