Tulips fans’ egg-cellent showing

Supporters of Spalding United have provided some Easter cheer through chocolate.

The Tulips Supporters Club have held several food collections since forming last summer and their latest drive was to collect Easter eggs for families who might otherwise not receive one.
For Saturday’s top of the table clash with Harborough Town supporters were asked to bring some confectionary with them.
And a number of the 605 in attendance at the Sir Halley Stewart did just that.
The Tulips Supporters Club chair Paul Parkin, said: “We had a fantastic response.
“Thanks to everyone who donated.”
