Tulips continue unbeaten run

Spalding are now the only club to remain unbeaten in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division after taking the honours at Loughborough Dynamo.

Dylan Edge continued his scoring streak with a hat-trick on Saturday and Elliot Sandy was on target during their away success at the club which had started the day in fourth place.
The win saw Spalding’s unbeaten stretch hit 11 games and, after Stamford’s 3-0 loss to Sutton Coldfield, the Tulips are just a point off second spot.
The team was also boosted by the return of goalkeeper Michael Duggan. There was also a first team debut for ex-Nottingham Forest youngster Luca Doorbar-Baptiste.
The Tulips are home this weekend when they face mid-table Bedworth United in a 3pm kick off.
