Great weather and a good turnout helped to make the first ever Tulipmania event a success.
Held at Spalding’s Springfields Events Centre and Arena, the event saw hundreds of people turn out to soak up the warm sunshine and great atmosphere.
Entertainment was provided in the form of solo singers, bands, dance troupes, go-kart racing and various stalls and games.
Highlights included the Prince and Princess competition which was won by Georgie Van Dyke and Joseph Porter, and the parade which made its way through the arena and into the gardens.
On Sunday, the arena played host to the annual classic car show, which again attracted a good crowd.
Scores of craftsmen packed out the events centre selling their goods over the weekend, giving visitors the chance to have a look at some unusual and interesting wares.
