Trot on down to the wild west

The British Westerners Association will be hosting its next camp at the Anglia Hotel, Fleet Hargate, from April 10-13.

The weekend recreates life in the late 1800s with authentic camps and period clothing.
It includes all sorts of events such as western games like shooting, archery, axe-throwing as well as live entertainment and the popular fast draw competition and dancing.
Eric Texas Blue, a member of the BWA who lives in Holbeach, said: “Many of the participants come from all over the country to take part.
“I have loved Westerns since I was young it is great to be a part of our western weekends.”
Anybody is welcome to come along to the camp and enjoy a taste of the wild west.
Day tickets are £7 while for all four days it is £25 for non-members, £20 for members, £10 for 16 and 17-year-olds and children under 15 are free.
