GALLERY – Triumphant return for parade

Moulton Chapel welcomed back visitors to its annual Tuliptime Parade after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

This year the event was staged mainly on the village field, with the usual parade of floats making its way through the village.

Tracey O’Leary, who is on the organising committee, said it was great to welcome people back.

She said: “It was really well attended.

“We held it on the field this year for the first time.

“It was a bit of a cold day but lots of people came along to support us and really enjoyed it.”

Many of the groups due to be involved in the 2020 event were able to get involved this year, including the parade prince and princess.

Any money raised on the day is going back into the pot to pay for staging the following year’s event.

New attractions included static engines and the Rock Bus.
